[2]So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months.
[3]But when she could no longer hide him, she took an ark of bulrushes for him, daubed it with asphalt and pitch, put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the river’s bank.
[5]Then the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the river. And her maidens walked along the riverside; and when she saw the ark among the reeds, she sent her maid to get it.
[6]And when she opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the baby wept. So she had compassion on him, and said, “This is one of the Hebrews’ children.”
[10]And the child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son. So she called his name Moses, saying, “Because I drew him out of the water.”
MOSES' MOTHER IS HIS NURSEMAID:
Exodus 1:17-19
[17]But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the male children alive.
[18]So the king of Egypt called for the midwives and said to them, “Why have you done this thing, and saved the male children alive?”
[19]And the midwives said to Pharaoh, “Because the Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women; for they are lively and give birth before the midwives come to them.”
Exodus 2:5-10

MOSES KILLS; SYMPATHY FOR HEBREW BRETHREN!
Exodus 2:11,13-15
[11]Now it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out to his brethren and looked at their burdens. And he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren.
[13]And when he went out the second day, behold, two Hebrew men were fighting, and he said to the one who did the wrong, “Why are you striking your companion?”
[14]Then he said, “Who made you a prince and a judge over us? Do you intend to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” So Moses feared and said, “Surely this thing is known!”
[15]When Pharaoh heard of this matter, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh and dwelt in the land of Midian; and he sat down by a well.
Exodus 2:19-21
[19]And they said, “An Egyptian delivered us from the hand of the shepherds, and he also drew enough water for us and watered the flock.”
[20]So he said to his daughters, “And where is he? Why is it that you have left the man? Call him, that he may eat bread.”
[21]Then Moses was content to live with the man, and he gave Zipporah his daughter to Moses

[1]Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman.
[2]So they said, “Has the Lord indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us also?” And the Lord heard it.
[4]Suddenly the Lord said to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, “Come out, you three, to the tabernacle of meeting!” So the three came out.
[5]Then the Lord came down in the pillar of cloud and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam. And they both went forward.
[9]So the anger of the Lord was aroused against them, and He departed.
[10]And when the cloud departed from above the tabernacle, suddenly Miriam became leprous, as white as snow. Then Aaron turned toward Miriam, and there she was, a leper.
HUMBLE & FAITHFUL:
Numbers 12:1,3,6-7
[1]Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman.
[3](Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)
[6]Then He said, “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I , the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream.
[7]Not so with My servant Moses; He is faithful in all My house.

Numbers 14:2-3,10-11,19,40
[2]And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness!
[3]Why has the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?”
[10]And all the congregation said to stone them with stones. Now the glory of the Lord appeared in the tabernacle of meeting before all the children of Israel. Moses Intercedes for the People
[11]Then the Lord said to Moses: “How long will these people reject Me? And how long will they not believe Me, with all the signs which I have performed among them?
[19]Pardon the iniquity of this people, I pray, according to the greatness of Your mercy, just as You have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.”
[40]And they rose early in the morning and went up to the top of the mountain, saying, “Here we are, and we will go up to the place which the Lord has promised, for we have sinned!”
