ACTS 28:15 And from there, when the brethren heard about us, they came to meet us as far as Appii Forum and Three Inns. When Paul saw them, he thanked God and took courage. HISTORICAL CONTEXT The name Appii Forum is also known as Via Appia and The Appian Way. This was a popular road which Paul traveled   on his way to Rome. JOHN 9:6-7 6 When He had said these things, He  spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. 7 And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam .” So he went and washed,  and came back seeing. JOHN 9:11 He answered and said, “A Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash so I went and washed, and I received sight.” HISTORICAL CONTEXT This is a rock pool located in Jerusalem.
