DISCOVERING THE TRUTH, THE APPIAN WAY


ACTS 28:15

And from there, when the brethren
heard about us, they came to meet
us as far as Appii Forum and Three
Inns.
When Paul saw them, he thanked
God and took courage.

HISTORICAL CONTEXT

The name Appii Forum is also known
as Via Appia and The Appian Way. This
was a popular road which Paul traveled 
on his way to Rome. The road is named
after Appius Claudius Caecus who was
Roman officer. This road was also used
by the Roman military.
