LIFE'S TRIALS EQUALS BLESSINGS!

I had a elementary school teacher once, who
always quoted:

" Ignorance is bliss"

She said this when the class was misbehaving.

I wasn't sure what she meant but I didn't want
to be placed in  the time out corner!

I have learned that ignorance is not bliss and

not facing your problems lead to devastation.
I have matured due to life's ups and downs.
I used to say, there is always a silver lining.
I don't use this phrase anymore. I say there
is a blessing coming when you face test and
trials. Some of these test/trials are very hard
to cope with. One can wonder, Where is God?

I heard a heart breaking testimony recently

on a Christian TV network. This man was a
famous person.  He thought he was going
everything right. He loved the Lord, went
to his church regularly, witnessed to non-
believers, tithed, and was always helping
others. He had a very popular TV show. He
ate healthy food and walked 4 miles every
morning. He suddenly began to have pain
when he was exercising. He decided to go
to the doctor and tests were done.He was
told that he had a malignant tumor. He had
a cancerous tumor. He had chemotherapy
treatments and surgery. He said that he was
in severe pain and the morphine only eased
the pain for a few hours. He asked his church
and his friends to pray for him.

He knew the Lord had heard  prayer partners

prayers. He had gotten a visit from a man he
had not seen in several years.  The man said
he had a special report.  The Lord told him to
tell this man, he would be healed soon! There
was another surgery scheduled and the doctor
said he was amazed. He didn't have to remove
the rest of the tumor. It had shrunken and no
more cancer cells were visible. The doctor said
type of cancer was usually fatal. His condition
had somehow markedly improved!! This man
said that his pain was gone. Now he is trying
to strengthen his muscles by walking a little
bit each day.He gives the Lord all of the glory.

I have had many trials/tests and prayed Lord,
"Please help me!" I held on and had faith. His
grace and mercy was sufficient for me. Sooner
or later, I received a blessing after these trials
were over.

He said he posted the following scriptures all
over his room during his recovery:

PROVERBS  3:5-6

5Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not

on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

ISAIAH  41:13

For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand,
Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’

ROMANS 8:28

28 And we know that all things work together for

good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

1 PETER  5:7

7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares

for you.
