AZARIAH,  

SON OF ZADOK, THE PRIEST

1 KINGS 1: 8

But Zadok the priest, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, 

Nathan the prophet, Shimei, Rei, and 

the mighty men 

who belonged to David were not with

 Adonijah.

1 KINGS 4: 1-2, 4

1 So King Solomon was king over 

all Israel.

2 And these were his officials: 

Azariah the 

son of Zadok, the priest;

4 Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, 

over the army;

Zadok and Abiathar, the priests.

22 He built Elath and restored it 

to Judah, 

after the king rested with his fathers.

of Amaziah, king of 

Judah, became king.
