BIBLICAL NUMBERS: "3"

As I was doing my weekly Bible study, the number three was seen many times. Of course, I acknowkedge:

IN THE NAME OF, THE FATHER, SON, & HOLY GHOST!!

I felt inspired to seek more scriptures about persons, places, and things involving the number, "three". Here are some intriguing situations:

OLD TESTAMENT ( three, third )

11.  "And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, 

and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, 

upon the earth: and it was so."

12.  "And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, 

and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God 

saw that it was good." 

13.  "And the evening and the morning were the third day." 

 Genesis 1:11, 12, 13 

10. "And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth." 

19.  "These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the 

whole earth overspread." 

Genesis 6:10, 19

2.  "And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest,

 and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering 

upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of." 

4.  "Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the 

place afar off."

12.  "And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any 

thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast

 not withheld thy son, thine only son from me." 

13.  "And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him

Genesis 22:2, 4, 12, 13

The three branches are three days:" 

Genesis 40:12 

"And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come 

down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai." 

Exodus 19:11

Ye shall give three cities on this side Jordan, and three cities shall ye give

 in the land of Canaan, which shall be cities of refuge." 

Numbers 35:14 

1.  "And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel."

2.  "And David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number

 Israel from Beersheba even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, 

that I may know it." 

7.  "And God was displeased with this thing; therefore he smote Israel." 

8.  "And David said unto God, I have sinned greatly, because I have done

 this thing: but now, I beseech thee, do away the iniquity of thy servant; 

for I have done very foolishly."

 choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee."

 it cannot bear:" 

29. "There be three things which go well, yea, four are comely in going:"

3. "But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, 

and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid

 the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish 

from the presence of the LORD." 

17.  "Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah.
