24 Then Jacob was left

him, He touched the socket

have struggled with God 

and with men, and have 

prevailed.”

30 So Jacob called the 

name of the place Peniel: 

“For I have seen God face 

to face, and my life is 

preserved.”

EPHESIANS 6: 12

For we do 

not wrestle against flesh

 and blood, but against 

principalities, against 

powers, against the rulers

COLOSSIANS 2:2, 8-10

2 That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,

8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
