MATTHEW 10: 1-2, & 5
1 He called His twelve disciples
(APOSTLES) to Him and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.
2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew, his brother; James, the son of Zebedee, and John, his brother.
5 These twelve Jesus sent out, and commanded them, saying, “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the Samaritans.
MARK 3: 9-11, 13-19
9 He told the disciples to have a small boat ready for Him because of the crowd, lest they should crush Him.
10 For He had healed many, so that all who had diseases pressed on Him to touch Him.
11 When unclean spirits saw Him, they fell down before Him, crying out, “You are the Son of God.”
13 He went up into the mountain and called to Him those whom He desired, and they came to Him.
14 He ordained twelve to be with Him, and to be sent out to preach,
15 and to have authority to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons:
16 Simon, whom He named Peter;
17 James, the son of Zebedee, and John, the brother of James, whom he surnamed Boanerges (meaning Sons of Thunder);
18 Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas; and James the son of Alphaeus; and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Zealot;
19 and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Him.
MARK 6: 30
The apostles met with Jesus and told him everything, both what they had done and what they had taught.
