MARY, MOTHER OF JESUS

LUKE 1: 26-28, 30-31,  & 38

26 Now in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,
27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary
28 And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”

30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.

38 Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

LUKE 2: 16-19

16 And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger.
17 Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this Child.
18 And all those who heard it marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds.
19 But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart.

MATTHEW 2: 11

And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

MARK 6: 3

Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended at Him.

MARK 15: 40

There were also women looking on from afar, among whom were Mary Magdalene, Mary
the mother of James the Less and of Joses, and Salome,

JOHN 2: 1-2

On the third day, there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus ( MARY) was there.

Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.

JOHN 19: 17-18 & 25-27

17 And He, bearing His cross, went out to a place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha,
18 where they crucified Him, and two others with Him, one on either side, and Jesus in the center.

25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother ( MARY), and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.
26 When Jesus, therefore, saw His mother(MARY), and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother(MARY), “Woman, behold your Son!”
27 Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home.

ACTS 1: 9 & 12-14

9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him
out of their sight.

12 Then they (DISCIPLES)returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey.
13 And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying...
14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

REVELATION 12: 5
