MATTHEW  16:21 



From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto His disciples, how that He must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.



MATTHEW 17: 9 & 12



9 And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.
12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.




MATTHEW  20: 18 & 28



18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,
28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.



MATTHEW 26: 1-2. 11-12, 18, & 26-28



1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, He said unto His disciples,
2 Ye know that after two days is the feast of the Passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.

11 For ye have the poor always with you; but Me ye have not always.

12 For in that she hath poured this ointment on My body, she did it for

My burial.

18 And He said, Go into the city to
such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; 
I will keep the Passover at thy 
house with My disciples.



24 The Son of man goeth as it is 
written of Him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.

26 And as they were eating, Jesus took 

bread, and blessed it, and brake it,

and gave it to the disciples, and said, 

Take, eat; this is My body.

27 And he took the cup, and gave 

thanks, and gave it to them, saying, 

Drink ye all of it;

28 For this is My blood of the new 

testament, which is shed for many for 

the remission of sins.

36 Then cometh Jesus with them unto
a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.
37 And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.
38 Then saith He unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with Me.
39 And He went a little farther, and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, O My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me: nevertheless not as
I will, but as thou wilt.
42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from Me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

44 And He left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.
45 Then cometh He to His disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, 
and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.



MARK 8: 31



And He began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.



MARK 9:31 



For He taught His disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill Him; and after that He is killed, He shall rise the third day.




MARK 14: 34-36 & 41



34 And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.
35 And He went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him.
36 And He said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

41 And He cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

1 CORINTHIANS 11:24-25

²⁴And when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

²⁵ In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”
