MATTHEW 21: 23-25

23 Now when He (JESUS) came into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people confronted Him as He was teaching, and said, “By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority?”

24 But Jesus answered and said to them, “I also will ask you one thing, which if you tell Me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things: 

25 The baptism of John—where was it from? From heaven or from men?”

MATTHEW 26: 36

Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, “Sit here while I go and pray over there.”

MARK 1: 9 & 14

9 It came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan.

14 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God.

32 Then they brought to Him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech, and they begged Him to put His hand on him. 

33 And He took him aside from the multitude, and put His fingers in his ears, and He spat and touched his tongue. 

34 Then, looking up to heaven, He sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.”
